Behold, I give to you…The Weezie Wallbanger.  This is by far one of my most favorite cocktails ever.  For several reasons, but mostly because it’s beyond refreshing on a hot summer day (or any day for that matter).  And it looks pretty and is just fun to say.  I concocted this a few years ago and it is just as delicious to sip in the middle of winter as it is in the blazing hot sun of summer at Three Sheets To The Wind.

 My dearest sweetest bestie Lisa (aka Chica) came up with the name Weezie Wallbanger.  I think it took her all of ten seconds to come up with it (her mind is BRILLIANT that way).  She calls me Weezie (and lovingly refers to Joe as “George”).  I’m not sure I even remember how that name was bestowed upon me, but, for years that is who I am~and always will be~to her.    So, this post salutes my Chica…thank you for coming up with such a fabulous name for my little creation…Shabaka!!!

Ingredients

• ice
• 1 ounce Citrus Vodka
• 1 dash lime juice
• 1 squeeze per 8 oz. serving Crystal Light Strawberry Lemonade Liquid (or to taste)
• Water
• lime wedge

Servings: Cocktail

Instructions

1. To 10 ounce cocktail glass (approx.), fill with ice. Add citrus vodka, lime juice, Crystal Light Strawberry Lemonade Liquid.
2. Fill glass to rim with water. Stir well. Garnish with lime wedge.
