Ingredients
1cupbutter, softened
1cupPowdered Sugar
1cupgranulated white sugar
1cupvegetable oil
2mediumeggs
1teaspoonvanilla extract
4 1/2cupsall~purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking soda
1/2teaspoonsalt
1teaspooncream of tartar
sprinkles for topping (optional)
Instructions
In bowl of stand mixer or large mixing bowl, cream together butter, powdered sugar, granulated white sugar and vegetable oil.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
In a large mixing bowl add flour, baking soda, salt and cream of tartar. Whisk lightly to mix and add slowly to creamed mixture and mix until fully incorporated. Dough will be stiff.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto parchment~lined cookie sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden brown. Cool for three minutes and transfer to wire rack.
